New to La Pêche and wanting to get involved in your community? Keen to deepen your connection to community in the Gatineau Hills? The Chamber’s new volunteer database, powered by Canadian-run web-based software Kindness Connect, aims to help connect interested volunteers with available opportunities with Chamber members.

The database, created by the Chamber’s Community Council, is now up and running. Simply go to https://www.kindnessconnect.com/cwlpc/ and go to “current opportunities” to sign up to be a community volunteer. Choose whether you want to volunteer from home or at events, specify your availability, and what sort of opportunities you are interested in, and in future you will be contacted when opportunities matching your interests and availability become available.

Want to get a head start on volunteering? The Wakefield Christmas Market, to be held at Centre Wakefield  La Pêche on Saturday, December 10, is currently looking for volunteers. Apply at https://www.kindnessconnect.com/cwlpc/christmasmarket/
